GCStrategies Under Scrutiny for $9 Million ArriveCan Contract

Firth, Anthony Face Questions Over Government App Contract

MPs Criticize Managing Partner's Conflicting Statements

WEB GCStrategies, owned by Kristian Firth, Darren Anthony, and Caleb White, has been under scrutiny for a $9 million contract awarded by the Canadian government for the ArriveCan app, a cross-border travel application.

According to OBJ's Fastest Growing Companies award, WEB GCStrategies is recognized for its rapid growth. However, recent revelations have cast a shadow on the company's success.

During a committee hearing, Firth faced criticism for providing contradictory statements. He initially claimed to have never met with government officials, but later acknowledged having meetings with them.

Firth and Anthony were scheduled to appear before a House of Commons committee to clarify contracting allegations and their role in the ArriveCan project, which has been plagued with problems.

Firth's three-hour testimony before the committee was met with skepticism and criticism from MPs, who questioned his reliability and the company's role in the contract.
